Description
87 Hill Street is a terraced house dating from the 19th century, featuring painted stucco and a slate close-eaved roof with a brick stack at the left end. The house stands three storeys high and has a two-window range. To the left, there is a two-storey canted oriel window with plate glass sashes set in moulded frames, topped by a moulded cornice above the upper windows. On the right side, there is a plate glass sash window on each floor. The ground floor on the left includes a sash window with marginal panes, while an arched doorway to the right features a door with two long arched panels and a radiating bar fanlight above. There is a later 19th-century open pediment on stucco consoles above the doorway. An inscribed plaque is located at the top left, but it is not readable from street level. The interior has not been inspected.
