Description
81 Hill Street is a terraced house dating from the late 19th century. It features painted stucco with a slate close-eaved roof and a brick stack on the left end. The building stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range that is offset to the left. The top floor has two renewed 9-pane sash windows, while the first floor has a renewed 12-pane sash window on the left and a modern tripartite window with a configuration of 4-12-4 panes to the ground floor left of centre. There is a 20th-century steep-gabled stucco hoodmould above the ground floor window. On the first floor right, there is a late 19th-century canted oriel window with a moulded cornice and plate glass sashes. To the right of the building, there is an arched doorway with a recessed door that has two long arched panels and a radiating-bar fanlight. The interior has not been inspected.
