Description
9 Hill Street is a two-storey, three-window terraced house dating from the 18th century. The exterior is painted stucco with a tarred slate roof and no chimneys. The front has renewed 12-pane sash windows; a single window on the first floor is slightly wider than the one above the front door, and the ground floor has two larger 12-pane sashes with new slate sills (previously these were 16-pane sashes). These ground-floor windows are slightly offset from the corresponding windows above. A 20th-century door with overlight replaces an earlier two-panel door. A later 19th-century stucco cornice sits above the door, supported by two ornate scrolled consoles. The interior has not been inspected.
