Description
7 Hamilton Street is an end-terraced house featuring colourwashed stucco cladding that is lined to resemble ashlar. The building has a slate roof and a brick stack on the left side. It is two stories tall and has a one-window section that is part of a three-window range, which includes No 9. There is a small roof light, and on the ground floor, there is one 4-pane sash window with marginal lights above it, similar to the window set to the left. To the right of these windows, there is a doorway that is paired with the door to No 9, which aligns with the center window of the entire range. The door is from the 20th century, and there is a narrow plinth to the left. The left end of the house is exposed stone rubble. At the rear, there is a 20th-century addition and a stair light with a brick head. According to the 1978 list, the windows were originally 12-pane sashes, and the door was a 6-panelled design with 4 fielded panels.
