Description
No. 10 Gloucester Terrace is a terraced house dating from the 19th century. It features a painted roughcast exterior, a slate close-eaved roof, and a rendered stack at the right end. The house stands three storeys high and has a one-window range with a door to the right, which is paired with the door of No. 9. The building has a stucco plinth and plain raised shouldered surrounds around the paired doorways as well as the windows on the ground and first floors. The windows are renewed horned sash types, likely originally small paned, with a 6-pane window in the attic and four-pane windows on the first and ground floors. An additional matching attic window has been added to the left side. The doorway to the left is deeply recessed and paired with the door of No. 9, featuring three broad cemented steps leading up to both doorways, with one step inside the doorway and a lion's head keystone above. The entrance includes a recessed half-glazed 4-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
