No. 12 Gloucester Terrace

No. 12 Gloucester Terrace is a terraced house dating from the 19th century. It features painted roughcast walls, a slate close-eaved roof, and a brick stack at the right end. The house has three storeys and a one-window range, with a door located to the right, which is paired with the door of No. 11. The exterior includes a stucco plinth and plain raised shouldered surrounds around the paired doorways and the windows on the ground and first floors. The windows are renewed horned sash types, likely originally small-paned, with a 6-pane window in the attic and four-pane windows on the first and ground floors. There is an added matching attic window to the left. The deeply recessed doorway to the left is paired with the door of No. 11 and features a broad step up to both doorways, with one step inside the doorway and a lion's head keystone above. The entrance has a recessed half-glazed 4-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
