Description

23 Queen's Square is a terraced house dating from the 19th century, featuring painted roughcast and a slate roof with close eaves. The house has a rebuilt brick stack on the right end and a roughcast stack on the left end. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and has two bays, which are significantly offset to the right. A small hipped dormer is present on the roof. The large four-pane horned sash windows are set in stuccoed plain eared surrounds, with painted sills and a plinth. There is a similar surround to a recessed modern six-panel door that includes a four-pane overlight, accessed by three steps. A plaque on the first floor reads 'Church Street'. The interior has not been inspected.
