Description

This is an attached house located at 3 Hamilton Street, built with stone rubble walls that were probably once covered in stucco. It features a slate roof and brick stacks at either end. The house is two and a half storeys tall and has a three-window range, with two attic gables, each containing a small 4-pane sash window. On the first floor, there are three larger 4-pane sash windows and one similar but larger window on either side of the central doorway. The windows on the front elevation are double glazed. The entrance has a 20th-century half-glazed door with a plain overlight. All window openings have plain stucco surrounds, and there is a plain stucco plinth. The timber doorcase is adorned with simple pilasters and a cornice, although it is obscured by a shop sign.
