Description

16 High Street is a terraced house featuring unpainted stucco cladding that is lined to resemble ashlar. The roof is cement grouted and includes one roof light, with a shared rendered stack on the right side and a rebuilt stack on the left side that serves No 18. The house has a two-storey double-fronted elevation. On the upper floor, there are two 4-pane sash windows with heads positioned under the eaves. The ground floor has a 4-pane sash window on the left and a 19th-century shop window with three transomed lights, which have ogee-shaped heads for the upper lights, with the center light able to open. There is a central doorway that features a 20th-century door.
