Description
11 Hamilton Street is a terraced house, part of a mirrored pair with No 13, built with colourwashed stucco cladding that is lined to resemble ashlar. The house features a slate roof with a painted timber dentil cornice and a shared brick end stack on the left side. It is two storeys high and has a two-window range. There is a 20th-century roof light on the right side.
The two upper-storey windows are 12-pane sashes set within moulded architraves. On the ground floor, there is a similar window to the left in a plain opening, which is positioned under a straight cornice supported by console brackets. The door on the right has six panels arranged in two tiers of three, topped by a lozenge-patterned overlight. The doorcase is shared with No 13 and features a raised moulded surround with a cornice on large console brackets. Notably, the original rosette motif on the frieze is preserved on No 13. The house also has a raised plinth.
Attached to the property are 19th-century iron railings that have uprights with twisted filials and curvilinear motifs, although the gate is missing. These railings are similar to those found at No 41 High Street.
