Description
Hendy Gwyn is a mid-19th century house featuring a painted stucco front and an imitation slate roof, which was replaced with grouted slate in 1981. The house has stone end stacks, with the one on the left being larger. It stands two storeys tall, with the left side of the front partly obscured by No 16, while the right corner is attached to the rear angle of No 12. The front has four narrow windows above, each with pebbledashed keyblocks and 20th-century aluminium windows. The ground floor has a door located under the second window, flanked by original large 12-pane sash windows on either side, which also feature similar keyblocks.
The front garden is enclosed by a low coped rubble wall topped with ornamental cast-iron arcaded railing, dating from the mid to late 19th century, and includes a matching gate.
