Description

Cannon House is a later 19th century terraced house featuring unpainted stucco and a slate roof, with a banded stone stack at the eastern end. The building has bracketed eaves and stands two storeys high, showcasing a three-window range of 12-pane sash windows that have rusticated surrounds and painted slate sills. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door topped with a traceried overlight, set within a pilastered doorcase that includes a corniced hood supported by brackets that match those at the eaves. The corners of the house are accentuated by rusticated angle quoins. The area is enclosed by a concrete block rusticated wall topped with a painted wood balustrade and features an ornate wooden gate.
