Description

The lychgate and steps at St Thomas Church date from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with Bath stone ashlar dressings, featuring coped gables and a slate roof. The lychgate has a cross at the eastern end and a moulded round arch, while the western side has a round arch with a plain chamfer.

There is a flight of 15 broad slate steps leading up from Church Street, which are flanked by plain iron rails. At the foot of the steps, there are spearhead iron rails and gates.
