Description

The Vicarage is a large house built in the late 19th century, constructed from brown rubble stone with some grey banding. It features a steep slate roof with brick stacks at the ends and intricately carved bargeboards. The building has a basement and two storeys, with a five-window arrangement of large 12-pane hornless sash windows that have red brick heads and slate sills. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a traceried overlight, accessed by a broad flight of four round-nosed slate steps. There is one basement window on each side of the entrance. At the rear, the property has similar sash windows and a large pointed stair light.
