Description

Mount Pleasant is a detached house built around 1850, constructed of brown stone with blue lias banding and a slate roof. It features red brick end stacks and paired brackets at the eaves. The house is double-fronted and two-storey, with large sash windows that have marginal glazing bars, slate sills, and painted stone voussoirs above the cambered heads. The central 20th-century door has a similar cambered head and is topped with an overlight. Access is via one concrete step and a slate doorstep. The east end wall is rendered and includes a loft window, while the west end is whitewashed and has an outshut at the rear.
