Description

House and shop, painted stucco with slate close-eaved roof. Three storeys, two-window range with two 4-pane second floor sashes, central large first floor oriel and ground floor shopfront with square-headed house door to right. Oriel halfhipped slate roof, moulded timber cornice with small brackets, and 4-12-4-pane hornless sashes, the top panes arch-headed. Diagonal boarding to apron. Shop-front is broad with outer piers under big scrolled brackets with pediments over, framing fascia with green tile ground to brown tile letters 'Fishmonger Lillycrop Poulterer'. Piers have panelled lower halves and square paterae under brackets. Plate-glass shop-windows with mid transom, one each side to front, and one canted in each side of recessed half-glazed double doors with overlight. Mosaic tiles in recess. Shop windows have pierced ventilation grille over, and centre recess has shallow arch across. Panelled soffit within. Plinth to shop-windows is clad in green glazed tiles with brown-tile skirting. House door has overlight. Plaque above 'Frogmore House 1856'.

White marble slabs in shop windows. Good staircase.
