Description

The Five Arches Bookshop is a house and shop that features a painted stucco street elevation. It stands three storeys high and has one bay, positioned to the right. The building has close eaves beneath a slate roof. On both the second and first floors, there is a 12-pane hornless sash window located to the right. The ground floor includes a shop front with a pilaster and a curved-topped bracket to the left of a timber fascia board. There are single pane plate glass windows that angle on each side of the central doorway, which has half-glazed panelled double doors and an overlight above.
