Description

The Mill at Y Felin is a 19th-century building constructed from rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It is a single rectangular structure built into a slope. The north side features a door leading to the first floor, which has a timber lintel and a 20th-century metal door. The west end includes a ground floor ledged door with a brick head. On the south side, there is a blocked window at ground floor center with a brick head, and a similar window at the first floor center. To the right on the ground floor, there is a small pair of casement windows with a brick head. The east end is notable for a large 14-foot overshot iron wheel made by Davies of Machynlleth, with a loft window situated above it.
