Description
The Byre at Blaenant is a long, two-storey building constructed from rubble with blue brick dressings around the windows and doorways, topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features a central datestone. The windows on both the ground and first floors are cambered arched with multipane metal framed glazing, though not all are intact. The ground floor doorways are also arched, with two of them having been altered. At the end closest to the house, there is a small woodshed with a stone-tiled roof.
The building is divided into two parts that are connected by an interconnecting door. On the left side, mangers remain in place. The roof is supported by jointed and bolted tie beams and struts, with overlapping purlins. The floor is cobbled in part, although some areas are covered with concrete.
