Description
Pentwyn is a small farmhouse constructed of stone, with parts painted and rendered, topped by a steeply pitched Welsh slate roof. It features end stacks, one made of brick and the other rendered. The building has a central entrance plan and includes a single-storey outshut on the right side. It stands two storeys high with an attic.
The facade displays a three-window range of small pane iron-framed Breconshire hoppers, which have cambered heads and narrow sills. There is also a small attic window in the gable end on the right. The central doorway is situated beneath a pitched hood.
Inside, there are former enclosed stairs that rise behind the front door, with replaced balusters. The room on the left features a fireplace with voussoirs, while the room on the right has one lightly chamfered and stopped beam along with a fireplace grate. The former stable at the rear has been converted into a kitchen.
