Description
Felin Wnda is a two-storey building with a loft, constructed from rubble stone and featuring a slate hipped roof. It is built into a bank, resulting in only one storey visible on the north side. The north side has a ledged door located to the right of the center, framed by sandstone voussoirs. The east end of the building has a steep drop leading to an overshot cast-iron water-wheel, measuring 14 feet, made by S. Kelly in Bridgend, Cardigan. There is a long opening for the wheel and a small attic window situated under the eaves. The west end includes a similar attic window and a first-floor window, both with sandstone voussoirs, above a door that also features sandstone voussoirs.
On the south side, which faces the river, the building is tall and has a two-storey, two-window range of damaged 12-pane sash windows set to the left, along with a single window at a lower level on the right, all framed by sandstone voussoirs.
The interior dates back to the early 19th century and includes later 19th-century machinery. The attic features six closely spaced collar-trusses, along with a sack hoist. There are three heavy beams on the first floor and similar beams on the ground floor, which houses an iron pit-wheel, spur-wheel gearing, and a pine hurst.
