Description
The outbuilding at Y Felin is a Grade II listed structure dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a slate roof, forming a long range that slopes downhill. The lowest part of the building, located on the right, has a west gable end with a blocked door that has a stone slab lintel and a loft light positioned above it. On the north side, there is a door leading into the loft, located to the left of the center, followed by a broad cart-shed opening flanked by buttress piers on each side. To the left, there is a slightly narrower added range that includes a ledged door on the right and a gable-end cart entry fitted with corrugated iron doors. The south side of the building is windowless, but a masonry joint indicates that the eastern cart-shed is an addition. The roof is made of pine and consists of a single bay above the center cart-shed, with the lower end being lofted.
