Description
Pont Henllan is an impressive rubble-built bridge featuring three arches with triangular cutwaters positioned between elliptical arches. The voussoirs are made of dressed stone, and the central arch is wider and higher than the others. The bridge underwent late 19th-century remodelling on the west side, which included the removal of the upper part of the northwest cutwater and the forward extension of the parapet wall over the central and south arches.
On the northeast cutwater, there is a datestone marked EDZE JDJT JEJJ 1774, which likely indicates repairs made at that time. The parapets have rubble coping that connects to splayed walls at the junction of the A484. Additionally, a long curving section of retaining wall is located at the northwest corner of the bridge.
