Description
Llwynbrain is a 19th-century house built from slate rubble, standing two storeys high. It features cut stone stacks, a pitched slated roof, and 12-pane timber sash windows with slate sills. The front of the house has three bays that project slightly forward of the adjacent house, Llwynbrain, which is to the left. The central doorway has a plain stucco surround and is fitted with a late 20th-century door that includes a small overlight. All openings are adorned with cut stone voussoirs, and the right gable has a narrow timber bargeboard. At the rear, there is a modern porch extension at the northern angle.
Attached to the north is a lower, longer range that is possibly of a later date, also two storeys high. This range has three wide-spaced windows on the upper floor, featuring 9-pane metal glazing and cambered yellow brick heads. The ground floor has a single 20th-century window on the left side. The right gable is equipped with outside concrete steps leading to a first-floor boarded timber door, while the left side of the ground floor has a similar boarded timber door with an overlight. The property has not been inspected.
