Description
Llwynbrain is a semi-detached house built from rubble with cut stone stacks, slate roofs, and 12-pane windows. It features cut stone quoins at the corners and has two storeys plus an attic. The facade includes three ground floor windows and four first floor windows that are evenly spaced, creating an unusual rhythm. The sash windows are adorned with cut stone voussoirs and slate sills. There is significant clearance between the heads of the first floor windows and the roof, indicating a substantial attic space. The stone chimneys have a projecting band at the heads.
On the left gable end, there are two square windows with 4-pane 20th century glazing, stone voussoirs, and slate sills. The bargeboard has been replaced, and plastic rainwater goods have been installed. The rear of the house features a later 20th century car port and a ground floor extension, but it still retains the first floor sashes. The property is adjacent to No. 2 on the right.
