Description

Pont Twr is a three-arched bridge made of rubble stone, which was widened in the early 19th century. The original northern side features low, rough stone voussoir arches and a rubble parapet. The northwest end has been splayed, possibly during the early 19th century, creating an overhang on the right half of the central arch and refacing on the right arch. The added southern side from the early 19th century includes three shallow elliptical arches with cut slate voussoirs and raised arch rings. There is a string course above the arches, along with low cutwaters and raised piers between them, with the string course broken forward over the piers. The bridge has a rubble parapet topped with edge-on stone coping.
