Description

Newcastle Emlyn Bridge is a 3-arched bridge made of rubble stone. It features elliptical arches, with the central arch being higher and broader than the others, and has full-height cutwaters on the east side. The cutwaters on the west side are covered due to the widening of the bridge. On the west side, there are string courses above the arches, which step over the central arch but do not continue over the northern arch. The bridge has rubble parapets.
