Description

Bronafon and Teifi Dene are two early 19th century houses that share a single low-pitched, deep-eaved roof supported by paired eaves brackets. The front of the buildings is finished in stucco over rubble stone. Bronafon features three windows, a basement, and two storeys, with rebuilt and rendered end stacks, while Teifi Dene has two windows and three storeys.

Bronafon underwent significant restoration around 1985, which included new windows, rebuilt steps leading to the front door, fresh stucco, and new stacks. The first floor has three 12-pane sash windows, and on the ground floor, there are two windows flanking a six-panel front door that has a blocked overlight. The door is set within a timber porch supported by slim columns, featuring a carved and moulded Doric cornice. This porch is situated on a rendered terrace accessed by steps from the right, which are of 20th-century origin and include 20th-century iron railings. To the left of the terrace is a basement window fitted with plastic glazing, along with a carriage arch leading to the rear yard.

Teifi Dene has three floors with smaller sash windows: six-pane windows under the eaves and 12-pane windows on the first and ground floors. The ground floor door is located to the left and features a stained glass overlight, with a window aligned above it. There is also a shop window to the right. The eaves cornice matches that of Bronafon, and the ground floor is raised on a rendered terrace with a parapet, with entry from the right.
