Description
The Former Victoria Stores is a house built in unpainted stucco with a slate roof and stone end stacks. It stands three storeys high and features a curved southeast corner with deep boarded eaves. The curved angle has curved doors on the ground floor and a 12-pane sash window on each floor above, all of which are also curved. The main front displays two 12-pane sashes on each floor, except for the left side of the ground floor, which has a 3-pane shop window in a plain raised surround. There is a central door with a small-panel overlight.
The south end wall facing Church Street has raised sill bands and a 12-pane sash window on the left side of the first and second floors. On the ground floor to the right, there is a 3-pane shop window that balances the one on the main front.
At the rear, there is a rubble stone two-storey wing with two windows facing Church Street. The building is currently in poor condition and has been empty since spring 1990.
