Description

15 Sycamore Street is a mid-19th century shop and house constructed from brown squared rubble stone with ashlar dressings. It features a slate eaves roof and a stone stack at the north end. The building is two storeys high with a three-window range. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has a central door flanked by shop windows with slate sills. All openings have ashlar sides, voussoirs, and keystones. The broad ground floor shop windows are original, although the former glazing bars have been replaced with plate glass. There is also a pair of narrow panelled doors and a painted stone plinth.
