Description
Bryndewi is an early 19th century farmhouse, as indicated on the 1843 Tithe Map. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features a slate roof with stone end stacks, the larger stack located to the right. It is a two-storey structure with a three-window range, showcasing hornless 12-pane sash windows. The central entrance consists of a fielded six-panel door with an overlight above. Stone voussoirs are present above the windows. To the right, there is a lower two-storey service wing that includes an end stack and a one-window range of 12-pane sashes, with the lower window also featuring stone voussoirs. Additionally, there is a six-pane casement window in the gable end wall, and the building has a curved corner leading into the yard. Bryndewi is a well-preserved late Georgian farmhouse and holds group value with Pont Aberarth.
