Description
G & L Hall is a narrow three-storey building constructed of whitewashed brick, featuring a gable-end that projects forward from a transverse slated roof. The building has scalloped bargeboards, and timber studding is visible on the right-hand end. A large two-light window is located in the gable, while the first floor has three windows, including a small projecting bay flanked by double-hung sash and case windows with glazing bars beneath segmental heads. The 19th-century double shop front, which has been altered, still retains fluted end pilasters and colonnettes around the glazing. At the rear, there are long rubble ranges topped with corrugated iron roofs.
