Description
W.E. Lloyd Saddler, which includes a flat above, is likely from the 17th century and features a later three-storey stucco front that is continuous with the fronts to the left. There is some 16th-century timber work visible in the entry to the left. The building has a pitched slate roof with wide eaves that extend to the left, and there are boarding and small openings on the right gable end above The Fruit Shop. The second floor has two-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars, while the first floor features double hung sashes set in flush frames. A 19th-century double shop front with a bracket cornice extends to the right, and there is a plain entry to the left with studding, a heavy joist, and boarding inside.
At the rear, there are wide two-storey extensions that are partly cemented and partly made of rubble, with casement windows positioned under brick relieving arches. A massive stone stack is located at the gable end.
