Description

Haps Ltd., which includes a flat above, is a two-storey building with a roughcast front that dates back to the 17th century. The building features an overall slate roof, high eaves boards, and a red brick stack. On the front, there is a central downpipe, with two 3-light casements on the right and two sash windows in flush frames on the left. The building has 19th-century projecting shop fronts that include an overall fascia, a dentil cornice, and flat end pilasters. There are three small shop window bays with timber mullions and two recessed doors framed by moulded architraves. At the rear, there is an attached tall stone industrial building, which may have been a fulling mill, topped with a corrugated roof.
