Description
This is a single-storey former school building attached to Llanidloes Rugby Club, constructed from coursed rubble and featuring a hipped slate roof with wide boarded eaves. The building has had its chimneys removed and includes freestone dressings such as quoins, voussoirs, and a plinth. At the center, there is a gabled porch with a four-centred arch entrance that has double boarded doors. On either side of the porch, there are four-light transomed windows. To the right, there is a smaller but similar porch in a set-back range. To the left, there is a two-window, one-and-a-half-storey school house with gabled dormers and modern casement windows, along with a modern door. A central plaque on the building reads "National School AD 1845." The rear features twin gabled cross ranges made of rubble.
