Description
Llanidloes Rugby Club is a single-storey former school building constructed from coursed rubble, featuring a hipped slate roof and wide boarded eaves, although the chimneys have been removed. The building includes freestone dressings such as quoins, voussoirs, and a plinth. At the center, there is a gabled porch with a four-centred arch entrance that has double boarded doors. On either side of the porch, there are four-light transomed windows. To the right, there is a smaller but similar porch in a set-back range. To the left, a 1.5-storey school house is set back, featuring gabled dormers and modern casement windows, with a modern door to the left. A central plaque on the building reads "National School AD 1845". The rear of the building has twin gabled cross ranges made of rubble.
