Description
This is a 2-storey half-timbered house with origins dating from the mid-17th century, possibly around 1630, and it may have been built at the same time as the nearby Perllandy. The house was refronted in the 19th century and has undergone modern alterations. Until recently, it was part of the same property. Originally, it consisted of three cottages and features a four-window front with most timbers being of thin scantling. The house has modern casement windows and a stable door on the right, along with a modern flat roof connection to Perllandy in the center; the through door has been recently blocked. The roof is slate with raised eaves. The right gable end is made of rubble up to the first-floor cill level, with red brick above, while the left gable is half-timbered from the 19th century. The rear showcases 17th-century square panelling and a massive rubble chimney breast with a low stack; the corresponding fireplace inside is now blocked and features an imitation half-timbered wall.
