Description

The Old School House is a former school room dating to 1841. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The building is single-storied with two three-light casement windows, each featuring timber mullions and semi-circular arched heads to the lights. Stone drip moulds are positioned above the windows. A central projecting gabled porch has stone gable coping and moulded kneelers. The doorway is topped with a semi-circular head; the drip mould has been removed but shield-shaped stops remain.
