Description

Poplar Farmhouse is a house dating from 1766, as indicated by a datestone on the east elevation. It has been extended and altered in the 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, with a roof that is clad in Welsh slates on the front slope and clay tiles on the rear. The southeast end features stone gable coping, while the northwest bay, which is a 19th-century addition, has bargeboards. The front elevation displays four 3-light casements on each floor and includes a gabled bracketed doorhood.
