Description

42 Crescent Street is a three-storey building with a single window, featuring a stucco front on a brick structure. It has a gently pitched old slate roof and a dentilled eaves cornice. There is a brick end stack on the left side. The second-floor window has a shallow six-pane sash, while the first floor boasts a later 19th-century canted oriel window. The ground floor includes sixteen-pane sashes, and the centre window has side bars. The doorway is offset to the right and features early 19th-century doorcases with a gabled hood supported by a bracket, along with a 19th-century door. The property is complemented by an early 19th-century iron railed forecourt and gate, which has spear points.
