Description

This is a three-storey building with one window, constructed in the 18th century using scribed stucco over brickwork. It has a plastered plinth and a gently pitched slate roof with a lead ridge. A brick stack with a saw-toothed cornice and an unusual cap bearing eight circular brick flues is a distinctive feature. The windows are shallow sash designs: an eight-pane sash to the second floor, a sixteen-pane sash to the first floor, and a larger sixteen-pane sash to the ground floor. The windows have plain reveals and stone sills, with cellar openings visible below. The main entrance door is offset to the left, set within an original hooded doorcase and featuring a rectangular fanlight above. A modern door and steps now provide access. This building demonstrates group value from its contribution to the architectural coherence of the crescent.
