Description
The Weale Memorial is a pedestal memorial located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mauritius. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a plinth, framed plaques on each side, a moulded cornice, and a capstone that supports a squat gadrooned urn. Surrounding the memorial is a square railed enclosure with low ashlar coping and tall spearhead rails, which include dog-bars made of cast iron. The plaques have quadrant rebates at the corners. The inscription on the south side commemorates Ann Weale, who died in 1865, of Court Gwenddwr, while the inscription on the west side is for Christopher Weale, who died in 1867.
