Description
Hen Dy Ysgol is a 1½-storey cottage built in the early Arts and Crafts style. It features rubble-stone walls and a red-tile roof that is half-hipped to the left. The cottage has roughcast stacks located to the left of center and behind to the right. The front of the building is nearly symmetrical, with a central porch and a bay window to the left, both covered by the same catslide roof. The open-fronted porch has a pointed arch and a replacement half-glazed door. The windows on the right and left sides have a continuous freestone sill band and relieving arches, and they are 3-light casements with diamond leaded lights. There is a central hipped roof dormer that features a similar 2-light window, and the right gable end also has a similar attic casement window. The property has not been inspected.
