Description
Alltmawr Isaf is a house built of rubble stone with slate roofs and a single rubble stone stack at the left end. The building features a two-storey, three-bay facade with a prominent projecting hipped porch bay situated between two distinctive long windows. These windows have casement glazing on each floor and fixed glazing between the floors, with stone voussoirs above their cambered heads. The porch bay contains a long cambered-headed window on the first floor, also with stone voussoirs, and 8/8 pane casements. Below the entry, the porch is cemented with a flat head, differing from the arched head described in a 1962 listing. Inside the porch, there are stone seats and a six-panel door with four fielded panels.
To the right, there is a lower service wing that features a stone end stack with a shelf cornice, a long three-pane window with a timber lintel, and a door to the left. The end gable of this wing is windowless, and the rear wall has been rebuilt in early 20th-century brick. A rear wing extends at right angles to the main house, featuring a stone end stack, but its front wall has been reconstructed in rendered brick, with 20th-century metal windows on each floor.
The interior is not accessible due to its condition, but it was noted in 1962 to have a contemporary staircase and panelled partitions.
