Description
House, rubble stone with slate roofs and one rubble stone stack, to left end. Two-storey formal three-bay facade with big projecting hipped porch bay between two unusual long windows that have casement glazing at each floor and fixed glazing between floors, stone voussoirs to cambered heads. Porch bay has long cambered-headed first floor window with stone voussoirs and 8/8 pane casements, and is cemented below over entry with flat head (arched head in 1962 list description). Within porch are stone seats and a 6-panel door with 4 fielded panels. A lower service wing to right has stone end stack with shelf cornice. One long 3-pane window with timber lintel, and door to left. Windowless end gable, rear wall rebuilt in early C20 brick. A rear wing at right angles to main house has stone end stack but front wall rebuilt in rendered brick with C20 metal window each floor.
Interior not accessible due to condition. In 1962 said to have contemporary staircase and panelled partitions.
