Description
The Weare Monument is an early 19th-century chest tomb located about 8 meters east of the southeast corner of the chancel of the Church of St. Margaret. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features two plaques on the north side, with a wreathed urn positioned between them. The south side has two additional plaques with a plain pier in between. The tomb has rounded fluted angles and is finished with a moulded base and capstone. The inscription on the monument is dedicated to S. Weare.
