Description

This is an early 19th-century milestone located in the roadside wall of The Rectory garden in Yatton Keynell. It is made of stone and features a cast-iron plaque that reads "97 miles to Hyde Park Corner, to Sodbury 11". The milestone is documented in R. Haynes' work, "Wiltshire Milestones," published in the County Councils Gazette in June 1968.
