Description
This milestone, dating from the early to mid-19th century, is located on the north side of Hemel Hempstead Road in Prae Wood. It is made of stone and stands approximately 75 centimeters high. The front of the milestone features a carved inscription that reads: "1 mile from Gorhambury 20 miles from London Hyde Park Corner."
