Description
This barn, dating from the early to mid-18th century, is located at right angles to the southwest end of Vron Farmhouse. It features five bays, including two threshing bays with flagstone floors. The barn has a high rubble plinth wall and rubble gable end walls that include ventilation slits. The upper section is constructed with studwork and has a weatherboarded exterior. The roof is made of iron and is hipped at the south end. Inside, there are tie-beam trusses supported by two pairs of raking braces. The north end is accessible at loft level due to the slope of the hill.
