Description

These are 19th-century cowhouses located 25 metres northeast of Vron Farmhouse. They are two storeys high and constructed of coursed rubble stone with a half-hipped slate roof covered in iron. A large gabled dormer window has a pitching opening to the centre of the east front. The windows have cambered voussoir heads, and the building features boarded doors and shutters. There are external rubble stone steps at the north end. The interior has good quality beams and floorboards. The roof structure consists of interrupted tie-beam trusses with long raking braces from the collar to the floor beam. The loft contains plank-lined corn bins.
