Description
The former cow house, stable, and dovecote at Colomendy is a large farm building constructed from whitened rubble stone, positioned across a slope on a levelled site. The left side retains 19th-century slates, while the rest of the roof has been replaced with asbestos slates. The building features openings with wooden lintels set under segmental stone relieving arches.
At the left end, the stable includes a boarded door and a small window to the right, followed by another door, two small windows, and two loft openings beneath the eaves. The cow house section has five doorways, all with boarded doors except for the center and right-hand doorways, which have been converted into windows with integral vents. There is also a single loft opening beneath the eaves of the cow house.
External stone steps are located against the left gable end, leading to an inserted boarded door. On the right gable end, there is a brick lean-to with a metal-framed window above it. The building has not been inspected.
